Better Development: A Justice Based Approach

United Edge are hosting a training event on ”Better Development: A Justice Based Approach” in London on the 9-11 July 2019.

The three-day training aims to revolutionise the ways in which participants work on humanitarian, development, social change, and environmental justice initiatives both professionally and personally.

The training uses a Justice Based Approach that will see the participants get to grips with issues related to inequality, environmental destruction and discrimination and explore assumptions relating to methodology and practice in the following areas:

Strategic leadership
Programme design
Evidence-based decision making
Participatory approaches
System analysis
Privilege and power
Rights based programming
Monitoring and evaluation for learning
