City Bridge Trust
The City Bridge Trust’s origins can be traced back to 1097 when taxes were raised to repair London Bridge. By the end of the 12th century, a significant fund had begun to accumulate due to the taxes, rents and bequests collected. The trust’s grantmaking arm began supporting charitable activity benefiting the inhabitants of Greater London in 1995.
To address disadvantage by supporting charitable activity across Greater London through quality grantmaking and related activities within clearly defined priorities.
